What Are The Benefits Of Drinking Distilled Water
People are always wondering where there are any benefits of drinking distilled water rather than regular tap water.
There are however some scientists who believe that drinking distilled water can be even more dangerous than drinking unfiltered tap water.
When water is distilled, it is boiled and evaporated. The vapor is condensed. There are no dissolved minerals in distilled water. Due to this fact, it has the ability of absorbing toxic substances and eliminating them from the body.
This all sounds good so far. It certainly seems like there is a benefit of drinking distilled water!
And there is. Distilled water benefits the body when you want to detox for a short period of time. That is, a few weeks and no longer. After you continue drinking distilled water for longer amounts of time you will suffer from some of its downsides.
When a person fasts and drinks distilled water, they lose electrolytes and certain minerals. This can cause high blood pressure and heart problems. Cooking is also affected when using distilled water, as it lowers the food's nutrient value.
A person will not benefit from drinking distilled water if they drink too much of it and for too long. Distilled water makes your body more acidic. This can cause all sorts of diseases that come with premature aging. Water that is filtered rather than distilled is more alkaline and this is much more ideal for the human body to function correctly.
Keeping in mind that many soft drinks that people consume are made with distilled water and you can quickly see that people are drinking distilled water without even being aware that they are.
The benefit of drinking distilled water in the short term for a detox is acceptable. However do not drink distilled water in the long term as you will certainly begin to suffer the downsides.
